The 2004 Class of Dora Maclellan Brown Scholars
Josh Bales is a student at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. Josh is a graduate of the McCallie School and Bryan College. He served as Student Ministry Intern at Woodland Park Baptist Church. Josh uses his talents in music and speaking by serving as a worship leader and speaker to various Churches, camps, retreats, and conferences. Josh was active at North Shore Fellowship from its beginning until enrolling at Trinity in January 2004.

Wendy Brown is a student at Dallas Theological Seminary (Atlanta Extension & Main Campus). Wendy and her husband, Andrew, are the proud parents of twin girls, Emma and Lydia, (7) and Patrick (4). Wendy is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. She currently serves as director of Valley View Baptist Church’s spiritual hunger program. Wendy and Andrew have served as missionaries to Ethiopia through SIM International and plan to return to Ethiopia upon completion of her schooling.

| Christopher Cairns is a student at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA. Chris and his wife, Elizabeth, are the proud parents of a 4-month old. He is a graduate of the University of the South. He has served as Director of Esperanza del Barrio, as Promotions Director of Urban Art Institute, as chairman of Mission Lookout (prayer), and as a Young Life staffer, all in Chattanooga. He currently serves as Vice President/Partner for The Chattanoogan.com. He wants to return to Chattanooga!

Troy Crain is a student at Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga. Troy and his wife, Jenney, are parents of Lori (20) and Kevin (16). He is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University, where he was a recipient of the Lee Roberson Chancellor’s Award. He currently serves as Interim Music Minister at Briarwood Baptist Church and as Chapel Music Director for Tennessee Temple University.
Stephanie Granberry will be a student at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. She recently graduated from Covenant College where she served as Student Body Senate Secretary as well as being a Maclellan Scholar. She currently attends North Shore Fellowship in downtown Chattanooga, where she assisted in the ministry to single women. |  |

Glenn Hollingsworth is a student at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Glenn is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Glenn and his wife, Jennifer Lynn, currently serve as Campus Ministers for Campus Crusade for Christ in Charleston, SC.

Danny Mitchell is a student at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Danny and his wife Mary Pat are the parents of two children (5 and 2). He is a graduate of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia where he was awarded the Covenant College Fan of the Year (1991). He currently serves as Youth Pastor at New City Fellowship. |  |

Aimee Pierce is a student at Psychological Studies Institute in Chattanooga. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She currently serves as a third grade teacher at Wallace A. Smith Elementary School. She and her husband, Ruston, serve as volunteer Young Life leaders at Silverdale Baptist Academy. She also teaches Sunday School and leads a high school freshman girls small group at Silverdale Baptist Church. |
Josh Rogers is a student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisville, Kentucky. Josh is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he was a member of the Dean’s list as well as a member of the Golden Key Society. He served as Youth Ministry Intern at Red Bank Baptist Church. Josh and his wife, Julie, currently attend the Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville.
De’Lara Stephens is a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. De’Lara is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she was a member of the Dean’s List from 1990 to 1997. She was also a member of the National Dean’s List as well as a member of the Alpha Society. She is the author of several publications. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Chattanooga State. She and her husband, David, are members of Mile Straight Baptist Church. |  |

Wes Vander Lugt is a student at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Wes recently graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia where he was a member of the Dean’s List from 2000 to 2004 as well as Maclellan Scholar. He is currently a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. While in St. Louis, Wes plans to teach ballroom dancing.
