The Chattanooga Christian Community Foundation has made the decision not to accept new Seminary Scholarship applications for the 2009 year.
This decision does not impact existing scholarships, only new applications in 2009.
Funds available to the Foundation for scholarships and grants are directly linked to the value of the Foundation's endowment. Losses in the portfolio result in a decline in funds available for scholarships. Our response at this time is not to grant any new scholarships for a year to let our fund availability catch up with our current commitments.
We pray that we will come out of this year stronger than ever, and look forward to reinstating new scholarship applications in 2010. Stay tuned for more information in the coming months.

Timothy Scholarship Program
The Timothy Scholarships are available to:
children or grandchildren of Chattanooga area pastors or ministry leaders
Dora Maclellan Brown Scholarship recipients
students from the Chattanooga area seeking post-secondary education for ministry preparation
The Scholarships are designed to assist in the student’s post-secondary education.
Note: Before submission of a Timothy Scholarship application, please call the Foundation office at 423-266-5257, and discuss your plans with a representative of the Foundation.
